Computer Engineering
Established in 1999, the Department of Computer Engineering at M.H. Saboo Siddik College of Engineering offers a rigorous undergraduate computer engineering program grounded in both theory and practice. With state-of-the-art labs, and a project-oriented curriculum, students gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies. The department is committed to academic excellence and holistic development. As the College Principal notes, MHSSCOE is “committed to achieving academic excellence by imparting quality technical education”. Our vision is to be known as a Center of Excellence in building global IT professionals through cutting edge technologies.
Our dedicated faculty play a key role in this mission. They include experienced professors and industry experts with advanced degrees (M.E., Ph.D.) and research interests in areas like security, artificial intelligence, computer vision, etc.. These well-qualified, adaptive faculty members guide students through a dynamic curriculum and mentor them on practical projects. Cutting-edge research and innovation are emphasized – for example, faculty and students collaborate on projects in AI, IoT and cybersecurity, often in partnership with industry. The department also participates in initiatives like Programmers' Clubs and the Computer Society of India, providing students with extra learning resources and industry connections. In short, the Computer Engineering program combines academic rigor with real-world skills to prepare graduates for success in competitive tech careers.
