About Examination Cell

Anjuman I Islam's M. H. Saboo Siddik College of Engineering (MMHSSCE) has been an inception since 1984 with influential participant in this remarkable journey of nearly four decades. This institution has nurtured numerous talented engineers who have made substantial contributions to India's technological prowess with great leadership among various engineering colleges affiliated to Mumbai University.

The Mumbai University always adapting a holistic approach towards the overall development of the students around the globe by implementing a revision of syllabus schemes like R-2012 as Credit Based Semester and Grading System (CBSGS), R-2016 as Credit Based Grading System (CBCS) with pattern 80+20 , R-2019 as (C-Scheme) and now from AY 2024-25, the new scheme implemented as NEP 2020 pattern 60+40.

Internal Assessments and Examinations

Internal assessments and examinations/tests are scheduled as per the Institute’s academic calendar, which aligns with the University of Mumbai’s academic framework. These evaluations are conducted systematically to ensure consistent academic monitoring and student performance assessment.

Central Assessment Programme (CAP) Centre

The Institute plays an active role in the University of Mumbai’s examination process by functioning as a Central Assessment Programme (CAP) centre. At the CAP centre, answer scripts are evaluated under standardized procedures to ensure fairness, accuracy, and adherence to university guidelines.

Convocation Ceremony / Degree Distribution Ceremony

Anjuman-I-Islam's M. H. Saboo Siddik College of Engineering (MHSSCE) organizes the Convocation Ceremony/Degree Distribution Ceremony annually on behalf of the University of Mumbai. This event is held to honor and felicitate graduating students. The ceremony is marked by the presence of distinguished personalities who serve as chief guests and preside over the function, making it a memorable and inspiring occasion for the graduates.

Objectives of the Examination Cell

  1. To facilitate and ensure the smooth and orderly conduct of examinations in the institute, in accordance with the guidelines issued by the University of Mumbai from time to time.
  2. To uphold honesty, integrity, and fairness during the examination process, creating a transparent and disciplined environment.
  3. To address and resolve student grievances related to examinations and Internal Assessments in a timely and just manner.
  4. To prepare and submit results gazettes to the University of Mumbai and publish results on MIS.
  5. The tenure of the nominated members shall be for a period of three years
  6. 6. The committee shall meet as and when required in every semester.
