Girls' Orphanages
Anjuman is dedicated to addressing the pressing issue of underprivileged girls lacking essential support, educational and professional opportunities for a dignified life. Our girl empowerment programs support 400 girls in our orphanages in Versova, Mumbai, and Bund Garden, Pune, providing them with sustenance, education, and professional training. This comprehensive approach ensures they become financially self-sufficient and well-prepared for a brighter future.
Our efforts extend beyond education, as we facilitate suitable marriages for these girls, covering all wedding expenses to ensure their complete social integration. By going beyond the national call of 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' to truly 'Beti Basao,' we foster dignity and empowerment, making a lasting impact on their lives.
At Anjuman, we recognize the critical need to support underprivileged girls in achieving a dignified and self-sufficient life. Our orphanages in Mumbai and Pune provide 400 girls with not only essential care but also access to professional education and training, equipping them for a successful future. SAHARA Unit for Widows and Destitute Women Care
Anjuman’s SAHARA Unit for Widows and Destitute Women Care addresses pressing issues faced by destitute women, single parents, victims of broken homes, and marginalized individuals. These individuals often lack access to essential resources, emotional support, and vocational training needed to break the cycle of poverty and dependency. Our unit provides comprehensive counselling and short-term vocational courses, enabling them to earn a living and achieve self-sustainability. Additionally, our Mumbra unit offers basic technical education, enhancing employability and providing a pathway to better job opportunities.
Our organization is acutely aware of the significant challenges faced by destitute women, single parents, and marginalized individuals and we are committed to addressing these pressing problems with compassion and practical solutions. Through our dedicated SAHARA Unit, we provide essential counselling and vocational training to empower these individuals to become self-sufficient and contributing members of society.
