Welcome to the Department of Information Technology at M.H. Saboo Siddik College of Engineering. Established in the academic year 2001–2002 with an initial intake of 30 students, the Department of Information Technology has consistently grown in stature and performance. Since its inception, the department has been committed to providing high-quality education through excellent teaching, hands-on lab training using the latest software and hardware tools, and real-world project exposure in collaboration with esteemed organizations such as Mastek, TIFR, CDAC, and many more. IT department boasts a team of well-qualified and dedicated faculty members who not only impart academic knowledge but also mentor students in various competitions and professional development initiatives.
The department has an impressive placement record, with many students successfully securing positions in top multinational companies such as LTI, TCS, Wipro, and Teradata, often with highly competitive packages. Software Engineering Lab (SE Lab)
The Software Engineering Lab is located on the 2nd floor of the Staff Quarters in the college building. It is a fully air-conditioned facility equipped with modern computing resources and software tools that support programming, development, and project-based learning.

The Database Lab, situated on the First Floor of Jimba Bai Building, is a fully air-conditioned lab designed to facilitate hands-on learning in database management, query languages, and backend technologies.
